1000 Miglia 2025: a triumphant arrival in Brescia for the three Italian Army cars, supported throughout the race by IDV with a 4×4 MUV and a team of specialised mechanics

The 2025 edition of the 1000 Miglia, the iconic regularity race for historic cars along the traditional Brescia-Rome-Brescia route, came to an end.
Once again the Italian Army took part in the race together with IDV (Iveco Defence Vehicles), deploying three extraordinary vintage cars from the Historical Museum of Military Motorization: the 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 SS “Zagato”, the 1939 Lancia Aprilia Berlina 2nd series and the 1951 Fiat “Campagnola” AR 51, in the “Recoinnasance Car” version.

IDV proudly supported the Italian Army’s vehicles for the entire race, with the 4×4 MUV (Military Utility Vehicle) in crew cab configuration and the highly specialised mechanics, always ready to intervene promptly to guarantee support and assistance to the vehicles along the route up until their grand arrival in Brescia, celebrating a synergy founded on tradition, innovation and team spirit.

The MUV, a symbol of efficiency, adaptability and innovation, concretely represented the solid and long-lasting partnership between IDV and the Italian Army: to celebrate this bond, the message ‘INSIEME ANDIAMO A MILLE’ proudly displayed on the vehicle, contributing to making participation in the ‘most beautiful race in the world’ even more significant.

In addition to military crews and IDV representatives, journalists, artists, TV and radio presenters from the Italian cultural scene took turns driving the three prestigious cars.

IDV’s participation alongside the Italian Army in the 1000 Miglia, for the third year in a row, once again clearly and tangibly demonstrates the company’s profound closeness to the Armed Force, in every operational context, mission or initiative, reaffirming a strong bond inspired by shared values of dedication, service and national pride.
