FULFILLING MODERN OPERATIONAL NEEDS
The VBM Freccia is an 8×8 wheeled armoured vehicle designed for maximum crew survivability, offering an inner volume of about 11 m³ to accommodate a driver, two in the turret, and 8 fully equipped dismounts. Its hydraulically operated rear ramp ensures easy troop dismount, even with heavy gear. The vehicle is tailored for both war and peacekeeping missions, providing infantry with necessary firepower and protection.
ARMOURED EXCELLENCE
Equipped with a two-man HITFIST™ Plus turret, the Freccia mounts a 25 mm or 30 mm cannon and advanced fire control and sighting systems. The innovative proprietary H-type driveline reduces its silhouette, giving it a stealthier profile. Powered by an engine with automatic gearbox and 3-axle steering, the Freccia offers exceptional mobility, while its hydropneumatic suspension ensures smooth off-road driving. It also integrates a full C4I system for net-centric operations.
