HIGHER MOBILITY
The ARIETE C2 is an advanced evolution of the ARIETE C1 Main Battle Tank, boasting enhanced mobility, superior armour protection, and substantial firepower. Featuring a welded steel hull and a turret with composite armour, it is powered by a 1,500 hp V-12 engine.
The tank is equipped with an upgraded transmission and a widened track system. It can accommodate a crew of 4 (driver, gunner, weapon servant, commander).
ADVANCED ARMOURED PROTECTION
The ARIETE C2 features a torsion bar suspension with hydraulic bumpers and an enhanced brake system for better performance and higher GVW. Its main armament is the Leonardo 120 mm smoothbore gun, with a coaxial 7.62 mm machine gun and a 12.7 mm RCWS for air and local defence. The ARIETE C2 further features advanced optronic equipment as well as innovative command, control, navigation and communication systems.
