Antigen rapid swab tests: people’s safety and health are always our priority

People’s safety and health are always a priority in Iveco Defence Vehicles. For this reason, in addition to the already adopted preventive actions and the serological tests, which have been regularly carried out since April, we took part in the general mass screening initiative, that took place throughout South Tyrol.

On a voluntary basis, our employees as well as outsiders who closely collaborate with us were given the opportunity to get a free antigen rapid swab test. This kind of swab test is able to detect the virus’ presence and delivers results within 15 minutes.

Between November 20th and November 21st, our professional medical staff carried out more than 550 tests at our Bolzano plant. Thanks to the test, some positive asymptomatic cases have been found and accordingly reported via the official platform in order for the results to be counted in the overall mass screening outcome.
