80th Anniversary of Iveco DV plant

80 years after the foundation of the plant in 1937, Iveco Defence Vehicles celebrated the anniversary at its headquarter in Bolzano. The event started in the evening of July 7th, with a restricted ceremony attended by local civil and military authorities. In this occasion, the new generation vehicle MUV (Military Utility Vehicle) has been presented.

On July 8th the plant opened its doors to all employees and their families: about 40 vehicles produced in the facility during these 80 years of life have been displayed all through the internal courtyard, several engine’s parts and components were exposed for the visitors; a photography exhibition and a documentary about the plant and the people working in it completed the scenario. The celebration was enriched with live concerts, a buffet and entertainment for children. Some vehicles have also been displayed in the central square of the town, to share with Bolzano citizens the important milestone of the company.
