The Guarani is a family of 20 tonnes 6×6 armoured amphibious vehicles, jointly developed by IDV and the Brazilian Army following a contract signed in 2009. The Guarani family has been designed to encompass a variety of functions and capabilities, tailored to meet a wide range of operational requirements.

BRAZIL-BORN, WORLD-BOUND

The Guarani 6×6 amphibious armoured vehicle has been jointly developed by IDV and the Brazilian Army.
Mounting an FPT 8.7-litre, 6-cylinder, 380 hp common-rail engine, coupled with an automatic gearbox and fully independent McPherson suspension, the APC version Guarani can carry up to 11 fully equipped personnel.
The Guarani can be transported by KC390 Millennium and C-130 Hercules aircraft.
